Sewage

First off, I apologize for the lack of posts over the weekend and for the fact that this post will probably be a quick one. We're getting up at 6, leaving at 7:30 and don't get home until 10 or 11 PM. No complaints here, it just doesn't leave a whole lot of spare time. =D Hey, at least I get off of school while the group is here!!! hahahaha

On Friday the group arrived (2 hrs late) and we just went to the hotel, ate, and organized some stuff. Saturday, we did a project for the women in the community. Its called Ben's Bells in the states and everyone had a great time! Those ladies felt so special to have a day just for them!!!!! Then, yesterday, we did some morning shopping and sightseeing in the area where the hotel is. Here's the view from where we were:

Gorgeous, no? =D

Then, in the afternoon, we visited some families that work with us in the ministry. That's where sewage comes in. I'm a klutz and slipped and fell into the sewer thing. Amazingly, not one drop of dirt or anything hit my white shirt. I think its probably because I knew the sewer was there, so I could catch myself. Anyway, my jeans stank so bad that my cat wouldn't come near me! haha! Just another day in the life! =D

Anyway, today we're starting on construction work, and as we're about to head out the door, I really need to go!

How was your weekend?

  10. Back when the city was built, 400 years ago, they painted the houses that way to use as an address, ie. the third blue house on that street.!
I'm just glad that I didn't completely bang up my knee or anything...thank goodness for capri pants! :D
